A Million Bucks In Scholarships - I'm Not Kidding! Mention a million dollars in scholarships as fewas ten years ago, and most university officialsand everybody else would have laughed in yourface. It won't happen today. There are two reasonswhy. College scholarship opportunities have growntremendously and the cost of an undergraduateeducation continues to go up and up with no reliefin sight. The value of a four-year militaryacademy degree is now at $323,450. Who couldafford that? Thankfully, West Point, Annapolis andthe Air Force Academy are free to the students. That's one giant government scholarship. Can ahalf-million dollar tuition be far behind?
Tuition and fees for a handful of privateuniversities and colleges already top aquarter million, and many more are well over ahundred and fifty big ones.
A helpless father called for help because his son's firstyear tuition, majoring in engineering, would bealmost $40,000. One year! Scary? You bet! Anotherdad told me that his son would graduate next yearowing $51,761.
Will the total college bill reach a milliondollars? Not likely. But with the birth of the Internet, it is just a matter of time until someone takes up thechallenge and amasses a million bucks inscholarship awards. Yes, it can be done. There isno limit to the number of scholarships any oneperson can win. It can be done by surfing, exploring and utilizing the Internet.
There are five important keys to Internetscholarship search success: persistence, persistence, persistence, persistence andcreativity. Millions of dollars in scholarshipsare on the net with millions and millions ofdollars to be handed out. Why not to you?
